Resumen
Este trabajo es producto de una investigación realizada en varias instituciones públicas, con el objeto de identificar fortalezas y recursos de estudiantes que se encontraban a dos semanas de concluir el noveno o el décimo año. Se identificaron factores personales, familiares e institucionales que contribuyen con su permanencia y que pueden ser promovidos por el personal docente-administrativo y a través de los servicios de Orientación. Esta publicación se pone a la disposición de profesionales en Orientación para ser utilizada con estudiantes y en el trabajo conjunto con docentes y familiares para la promoción de la permanencia en la educación secundaria.
ABSTRACT: This work is the product of an investigation carried out in several public institutions, in order to identify the strengths and resources of students who were two weeks from the end of the ninth or tenth year. We identified personal, family and institutional factors that contribute to their permanence and that can be promoted by the teaching-administrative staff and through the Guidance services. This publication is available to professionals in Orientation to be used with students and in the joint work with teachers and family members to promote permanence in secondary education.
