ABSTRACT: This study had as main objective: To generate inputs about training in postgraduate programs, by identifying the demands that affect the various academic disciplines, to be used in the self-evaluation and accreditation processes, in the period 2001 to 2016 . For this first study of postgraduate graduates, exclusive to the UCR, the populations of interest were established according to the following inclusion criteria: Postgraduate studies (study plans) that have a graduate population in the period between 2001-2016, People graduates, of the previously selected postgraduates, in the study period and Employees of the graduates. A written invitation was sent to each postgraduate, in which both the characteristics of the study and the commitment that each postgraduate would acquire and comply with the information requirements were reported. In order to locate the graduates, the participation of the graduate programs and the UCR Registry Office was essential, in providing updated lists, as well as their telephone or email contact details. Contact was made with the sector employer, through information provided by graduates. The population was made up of six postgraduates, 416 graduates and 93 employers. The information was collected through a self-administered online questionnaire through the Lime Survey platform. The representatives of the employer sector were offered the possibility of answering it by telephone, this in order to facilitate the process for the employer and achieve the maximum possible response percentage. The conclusions are given in a grouped way, since this project describes the information of each particular postgraduate degree according to the consultation instrument used and refers to the specific objectives of the research. Specific objective 3 is transversal, since during this study the professional information of the graduate is updated, as well as the academic one, in accordance with the questions posed in the online questionnaire. In this sense, it is important to note that it is the first time that the UGES-SEP has developed its own ESPGP, since as mentioned in this document, previously, these were carried out with funds from CONARE, on an interuniversity basis, with state higher education institutions. This sets a precedent for the installed human capacity that was generated from previous experiences, in which the researchers participated in the publication of various ESPGP reports. At the same time, the importance of giving continuity to this type of work is recognized, since the communication that the graduate population has with their postgraduate programs, in many cases, is limited, so that through them and their generation of inputs , the programs obtain valuable information about: the transition of the person as a student to a professional in the workplace, aspects for decision-making, continuous academic improvement, alternatives to offer a response to the needs that society raises from its labor fronts , the profile of the graduate and their degree of competitiveness in the market after the training received as a result of the study plan, among others.
