Resumen
El proyecto analiza la pertinencia del estudio de consumos culturales mediáticos de adolescentes, como medio de conocimiento de este segmento de la población, y como puente y soporte entre la cotidianidad y la oferta escolar. Con este propósito, se planificó un proyecto de investigación cualitativa de carácter exploratorio, qu supone la articulación entre dos prácticas polisémicas: la educación y la comunicación. En este marco, valora el potencial educativo de las telenovelas, los videoclips y el animé, a partir de las percepciones de un segmento de población adolescente escolarizada urbana, con el propósito de formular una propuesta de apropiación educativa válida para los procesos educativos formales.
En los dos años de su ejecución se desarrollaron tres componentes: uno de orden conceptual que apuntaba a la indagación, sistematización y registro documental sobre el tema de jóvenes y medios, y sobre especificidades de las tres propuestas mediáticas seleccionadas así como sus características comunes; otro de orden pragmático, que incluyó el diseñó, ejecución y evaluación de cuatro talleres: dos con estudiantes de secundaria y dos con docentes del mismo estrato; el último, una actividad de síntesis de lo conceptual y lo pragmático, que comprendió la ejecución de la Jornada de estudio: consumos y producciones culturales juveniles: un espacio de diálogo para la educación la comunicación.
ABSTRACT: The project analyzes the relevance of the study of media cultural consumption for adolescents, as means of knowledge to this segment of the population, as a bridge and support between daily life and school supply. With this purpose, a qualitative research project of an exploratory nature was planned, which involves the articulation between two polysemic practices: education and communication. In this context, it assesses the educational potential of soap operas , video clips and anime, based on the perceptions of a segment from an adolescent urban school population, with the purpose of formulating a proposal of educational appropriation valid for formal educational processes. In the two years of its execution three components were developed: one of conceptual order that aimed at the investigation, systematization and documentary record on the theme of youth and media, and on specificities of the three selected media proposals as well as their common characteristics; another of pragmatic order, which included the design, execution and evaluation of four workshops: two with high school students and two with teachers from the same stratum; the last one, an activity of synthesis of the conceptual and the pragmatic, that included the execution of the Study Day: youth cultural consumption and productions: a space of dialogue for education, communication.
