ABSTRACT: The general objective of this research is to produce a textbook based on the systematization of artistic integration activities: arts, music and body language. This report originates from the processes of integrating artistic expression into the school curriculum based on teaching, research and social action experiences, which researchers have developed for years at the University of Costa Rica, without ignoring the experience of the national educational system. As part of the research process, primary school teachers and some who work in high schools voluntarily participated, and wish to incorporate into their work curriculum integration into their teaching experiences. Two groups of university students enrolled in the course FD-0123 Applied Arts in Primary Education and FD-0507 Creative Expression, which were taught by the those responsible of the project during the first semester of 2019, were also involved in the research. In order to accomplish the objective, formal and informal training workshops were arranged based on the well-planned guides. Subsequently, the researchers systematized the results of the activities carried out on the basis of theoretical and methodological process as well as the interpretation of the experiences that took place in the different workshops. To systematize the information and begin preparing the text, the following integrative axes are taken into account: artistic expression, and teaching and learning concepts. At the end of the process, the text is set: Arts, body language and musical education... beyond the classroom.
