ABSTRACT: The World Society for Animal Protection -WSPA- is interested on knowing how the training "Respect for all kinds of life", has opened the way to knowledge and actions for teachers and students, and contributed to animal welfare, emphasizing protection, to avoid cruel treatment and suffering. Based in this purpose, the proposed research "Evaluation of the results obtained from the course" Respect for all kinds of life "with teachers and students who have been exposed directly or indirectly". This research has as specific objectives: • To value the results obtained and the potential influence from the training "Respect for all kinds of life "in teachers and students who cooperate to animal welfare. The research has a mixed approach, that is, information was gathered that a qualitative analysis was required . 61 teachers participated in the pre-test and 53 in the post-test, there were 143 boys and girls. In conclution the following final considerations are proposed, among others: • The training was well received and accepted by teachers. In this acceptance, the fact its recognition and the importance to the role of the teacher in strengthening and teaching the subject covered by this training may be contributing. • There is evidence in the development of the research that teachers have difficulties incorporating the topic regarding to all life kinds that the training provides by WSPA due to the fact this is addressed as a cross-cutting issue. The tendency is to include it as one more topic which teachers should cover with their group of students. • This research highlights the role played by culture in relation to the topic “Respect for all kinds of life”. For instance, even when it is recognized that wild animals should not be pets, the parrots are in some cases in the category of pets. It is also possible to observe the role of culture on the presence of specific practices that are developed in different regions. • Even when teachers have knowledge of the subject regarding “Respect for all kinds of life”, this knowledge is not reflected in the realization of specific activities in the educational center.
