Resumen
Este documento es producto del proyecto "La investigación-acción como modo alternativo de formación continua para educadores y educadoras". Esta obra está constituida por dos capítulos. El primero presenta información teórica relacionada con temas que es necesario tener como marco de referencia, para concebir una idea clara de la relación existente entre el desarrollo profesional de los educadores y educadoras, los procesos de formación continua para el mejoramiento de su práctica profesional, y el perfeccionamiento de la calidad de la educación. El segundo es producto de la experiencia de investigación antes mencionada. En éste se presentan elementos identificados como componentes de una estrategia de formación continua basada en la investigación-acción, los cuales orientarían a la intervención de quien facilite estos procesos de capacitación del personal de una institución educativa.
ABSTRACT: This document is the product of the project "Action research as an alternative to continuing education for educators". This work consists of two chapters. The first presents theoretical information related to required topics as a frame work in order to have a clear idea of the relationship between the professional development of teachers, continuing training to improve their performance, and perfecting the quality of education. The second is the result of the experience from the research mentioned above. This chapter presents elements identified as components of a strategy for continuing training based on the action research which would guide the intervention of those who facilitate these training processes for the school's staff.
