ABSTRACT: The study had two general objectives: first, to analyze the accessibility available to students with educational needs associated or not to a disability at the Rodrigo Facio main campus; and as a second objective, to develop an information and services guide, which advice and supports the University community on the topic of accessibility. The population, that was worked with, was 100% of people with visual impairment, 100% of people with motor, systemic, multiple and auditory disabilities, since the total number of students in these areas is reduced. 25% of people with a learning condition, attention deficit and emotional condition were taken into account due to the fact that the total amount of students in these areas is broader. This consisted in a total of 125 selected students. A survey was sent online to the selected sample; also three focal groups were worked with. Finally, for the collection of the information, the registration of documents on adaptations and supports provided to the student population as stated in Article 37 of the Regulation of Student Academic Procedure was considered. For this purpose, 14 documents of the emotional area, 69 of the visual area, 9 of the motor area, 8 of the systemic area, 1 of the multiple area, 4 of the auditory area, 3 of the learning area and 5 of the attention deficit area, were reviewed. The results of this study include the following: To begin with, we found that having a theoretical and practical foundation on accessibility in the university environment made it possible to support the thematic and it's corresponding dimensions: accessibility to the physical space, the information, and the educational process. This conceptualization was the significant contribution to the development of the study, as it allowed to address the accessibility from an integral way. In this context and in order to achieve a global vision of the university student scene, a mapping of the aspects that contemplate the student life in the Rodrigo Facio main campus was created, which enabled visualizing student's (both high school and university) daily routines by identifying the different processes in an integrated way and the relationship with the accessibility dimensions. In relation to the accessibility to the educational process, this research has shown from the student perspective the achievements and shortcomings that exist in the area of accessibility in the educational field of the Rodrigo Facio main campus. The contributions of the participating population pointed out binding aspects related to the right to education and institutional commitment, in light of the challenges that this population faces on a daily basis.
