Diagnóstico de las necesidades de investigación en la enseñanza de español, inglés, francés, matemática, estudios sociales y educación física señaladas por los docentes que trabajan en las instituciones oficiales del país.

Abstract

Este estudio se basó fundamentalmente en el homónimo realizado en Costa Rica por el señor Juan Manuel Esquivel (1981), donde se analizan las características y necesidades de investigación señalados por una serie de maestros y profesores en la enseñanza de las Ciencias. Esta inquietud motivó al IIMEC para replicar esta investigación a un nivel macro, de manera que pudiera globalizar a los docentes en los diversos ciclos y de las diferentes especialidades. En consecuencia el IIMEC ha realizado un estudio de investigación, constituido en un diagnóstico de las características de los docentes de la Educación General Básica y la Educación Diversificada y de las necesidades de investigación en la enseñanza de la Matemática, Español, Estudios Sociales, Inglés, Francés y Educación Física señaladas por los docentes que trabajan en las instituciones oficiales del país. La información sistemática obtenida en este estudio, en cuanto a las características de los docentes y en cuanto a las necesidades de investigación apuntadas por ellos mismos, constituye elementos de juicio que complementaría estudios tales como los realizados por la División de Planeamiento y Desarrollo Educativo del Ministerio de Educación Pública, donde se analizan los temas de investigación que deben desarrollarse en las diferentes regiones, según opinión de los funcionarios de las direcciones regionales. Este estudio, en particular aportaría el juicio de quienes en esencia son los actores del proceso de enseñanza; cuyos criterios son trascendentes para que las decisiones de solución y evolución del proceso educativo puedan ser ajustadas dentro del marco real de cada región y nivel educativo. Por otra parte, los resultados propio de esta investigación son fuente interminable para temas relevantes de la investigación educativa, según las necesidades del país. ABSTRACT: This study was based fundamentally on the homonym carried out in Costa Rica by Mr. Juan Manuel Esquivel (1981), where the characteristics and research needs indicated by a series of teachers in science teaching are analyzed. This concern motivated IIMEC to replicate this research at a macro level, so that it could globalize teachers in the various cycles and in the different specialties. Consequently, the IIMEC has carried out a research study, consisting on a diagnosis of the characteristics of teachers in Basic General Education and Diversified Education and the research needs in teaching Mathematics, Spanish, Social Studies, English, French and Physical Education indicated by teachers who work in the country's official institutions. The systematic information obtained in this study, regarding the characteristics of teachers and for the research needs pointed out by themselves, it constitutes elements of judgment that would complement studies such as those carried out by the Division of Educational Planning and Development of the Ministry of Public Education, where the research topics that must be developed in the different regions, in the opinion of the officials of the regional directorates. This study, in particular, would provide the judgment of those who are essentially the actors in the teaching process; whose criteria are transcendental so that the solution decisions and evolution of the educational process can be adjusted within the real framework of each region and educational level. On the other hand, the results of this research are an endless source for relevant topics of educational research, according to the needs of the country.
