El estudio tuvo como objetivo verificar la validez de constructo en la prueba de Matemática de Bachillerato, formula 11 aplicada en 1997, mediante el análisis de factores. Se trabajó con la población a la cual se le aplicó la prueba de Matemáticas, fórmula 11 durante 1997. Se eligió la fórmula 11 por ser la que incluyó mayor número de estudiantes (4182 ) y era para aplicación de colegios diurnos. En este trabajo, se aplicó el análisis de factores en forma exploratoria, dada la inexistencia del marco teórico que permitiera identificar las dimensiones subyacentes al contructo principal.
ABSTRACT: The objective of the study was to verify the construct validity in the High School Mathematics test, formula 11 applied in 1997, through factor analysis. We worked with the population to which the Mathematics test, formula 11, was applied during 1997. Formula 11 was chosen because it was the one that included the largest number of students (4182) and was for the application of day schools. In this work, factor analysis was applied in an exploratory way, given the inexistence of the theoretical framework that allows identifying the dimensions underlying the main construct.
